H5 Terrific lake view with 1 king and 1 queen bed

Positive: Location was perfect

My husband and son (10yrs) needed a place near Jekyll Island to stay for a US Kids Golf tournament. This condo allowed us to bring our doggie! It’s a great location, walking distance to the beach/pier and village. The property has two pools, a playground, basketball courts, ping pong table and nice outdoor spaces. We even used the community grill one night to grill burgers! Overall I would recommend it based off location and good communication with the property management company. The unit itself was a typical 2-bedroom condo.

Good place to stay, good location but the property owner needs to address some concerns. Positive: We liked the location and the neighborhood. The property itself was just an average apartment but was equipped with everything we needed. Negative: The sliding porch door did not lock. I didn’t feel unsafe in the neighborhood but we were a mother and daughter so we were uncomfortable at night. I contacted the property owner and got no response. We moved chairs and furniture over to block the door every night. This was an inconvenience but I thought it was rude that we got no response.

Close stay to St Simons beaches Positive: The place was a quick bike or car ride to the beach (a little less than 10 minutes on bike and maybe 5 by car only because we went to the life guard station). It was a cute place and was comfortable to stay in. It was great having a washer and dryer in there to wash and dry on demand. This was a great deal last minute and in a pinch. Negative: You can tell it's been used (paint scuffs on the wall). Like we had said to each other, the place was good, but not what we typically stay in. It would be nice to also have more than 3 bath towels available and maybe some wash clothes. I would also love to see a hose or something of that nature for a foot wash station. The other thing they could consider is putting a key pad dead bolt on the door instead of using the key.
